These articles explain what each part of Splinde is, what it is for, and how it works, on its own terms, without a pain to resolve first.
If you already know what you are stuck on, the other categories get you there faster. If you want to understand a piece of Splinde before you build on top of it, start here.
What is a Workspace?
A Workspace is your company's shared space in Splinde, holding its people, budgets, templates, labels and units in one place.
What is Real Time Collaboration?
Several people can work in one Splinde budget at once, seeing who else is there and which field or block each person is currently in.
What is a Project?
A Project groups a job's Budgets inside a Workspace, with its own Owners, Members and status, and controls who can see them.
What is a Budget?
A Budget is Splinde's working file for one estimate, a tree of Sections and Cost Items with a currency, a status, scenarios and documents.
