The agency's cost controller has to see how each position was built before they sign it off, and some of your charges are yours to keep out of sight. The Cost Details block puts every line on the page with its quantity, unit and rate beside its total, and Disclose AddOn decides, AddOn by AddOn, what the client sees. Off keeps an uplift folded into the line total. On shows it as its own row or column.
Put the composition on the page
In the sidebar open Insert, then Document, and drag Cost Details onto the page. It renders with the columns #, Name, X, Unit, Rate and Sum.
Click the table, then Settings on the blue frame that appears.
Set Show Heading Levels to control how deep the table goes. Rows nested deeper than the level you pick roll up into the row above them.
Scroll to Disclose AddOn. It holds one card for each AddOn used in this budget. Turn on the ones the controller should see, such as a social-contribution percentage or a markup. Leave off the ones that stay internal.
A disclosed AddOn becomes its own row at the foot of the table, under a Subtotal row. Turn on its Show Inline and it becomes a column instead, repeated on every line, so each row shows the net amount, the uplift and the total.
What the client sees
An AddOn you leave off stays folded into each line's total. That is how an internal handling fee stays out of the client's view: the lines read clean and the total is complete. Turning an AddOn on pulls its amount out of every affected line's rate and total and shows it separately, and turning it off folds it back in. The tables are live, so you can switch between the two and read the result at once.
The AddOn's name is printed in the document, and its abbreviation where space is short. Read the names on the cards as the client will read them.
Good to know
With Show Inline on, the Sum header changes to Subtotal and a total column closes each row. Each inline AddOn adds a column, so choose the ones that matter and check the PDF before sending.
Disclose AddOn lists the AddOns this budget actually uses, so the cards you see match your budget.
Disclosure is set per block. Put a clean Cost Overview first and the full Cost Details after it, each with its own choices.
The Classic Budget block also has Disclose AddOn, as a subtotal.
Amounts entered in another currency appear converted, at line level and in every total above them.
