Access, roles and seats
Decide who sees and changes what. Choose between Editor and Admin for each person, keep freelancers to their own project through Project membership, give a service production outside your company access to the budget they work on, and see how seats work when freelancers come and go.
Project membership controls what each person sees. Invite a freelancer to one Project and that is the only one they see, before they ever log in.
Make budgeters Editors and the one or two people who run the team, settings and billing Admins. Project membership then decides which budgets each person sees.
Invite the service production into your workspace as a member and add them to the Project they work on. They open and edit the same budget as your team.
A seat belongs to each member and each sent invitation, and it is freed the moment you remove someone, so one seat can carry a run of freelancers.
