Fringes and contributions on crew fees

Add employer social contributions, fringes and levies to crew fees without editing every line by hand. Apply a levy only to the fees it concerns, update a rate for the whole budget from one Variable, stack two levies correctly, and put an uplift on a whole chapter.

Every crew fee needs employer social contributions on top. How do I add them to 200 lines?

Drag a prepared employer-contribution card onto one fee, set its rate in a Variable, then duplicate the line with Cmd+D. Every copy carries the AddOn.

A levy applies to some of my fees, not all. How do I add it only where it belongs?

An AddOn belongs to a single line, so it sits exactly on the fees you drag it onto. Configure the first one, then duplicate it to repeat the levy.

Do I have to add fringes to every line by hand?

Configure fringes on one line, then duplicate it with Cmd+D or share one Variable, and two hundred lines carry the same AddOn and rate.

A contribution rate changed this year. How do I update every line at once?

Edit the rate Variable once in the Variables tab and every linked AddOn follows, including Section subtotals and the Total. Re-link a line you typed with @.

I have two levies on one fee. Does the second one include the first?

Each AddOn on a line takes the same starting amount, so levies do not compound. Tick the other AddOn in its selection menu to put one on top of another.

How do I budget my country's employer contributions and levies?

Create a percentage Variable named after your levy, drag the Markup AddOn onto the lines, and link the rate with @. Splinde can add a card for your country.
