Splinde's interface is in English. Everything you write in it stays in your own language, so a budget built in German produces a German offer for your client.
That covers the parts the client actually reads. Section and Cost Item names come from your budget, and the text in an Offer Document is whatever you type.
What follows your language
Section and Cost Item names. Name them in German, French or Italian and they appear that way in the budget and in every Budget Block of the offer.
Offer Document text. Introductions, conditions, payment terms and notes are written by you, in the client's language.
Project details. Client, Agency and Product show exactly as you enter them.
Labels. Name your Labels in the language your team uses.
What stays in English
The app's menus, buttons and settings, and the column headings that a Budget Block adds to a table in the Offer Document, such as the quantity, rate and total headings.
Working in a multilingual team
Agree one language per budget. Section and Cost Item names are shared by Main and every Scenario, so a budget reads consistently.
For a bilingual offer, write the document text in both languages, one paragraph after the other.
A Budget Template saves your naming, so a German template starts every new budget with German Section and Cost Item names.
Good to know
Amounts follow the currency of your budget, so a Swiss job priced in CHF shows CHF throughout the offer.
English menu labels are the same for everyone, which makes a colleague's instructions easy to follow wherever they sit.
