How many budgets can we have, and does a scenario count?

The number of budgets a workspace holds is set by your plan, and Scenarios and Budget Templates are free. Build options as Scenarios beside Main inside one budget, and your allowance goes to real jobs.

What counts as a budget

• Counts: each budget you create in a Project, including one made with Duplicate, because a duplicate is a new budget of its own.

• Free: every Scenario inside a budget, and every Budget Template in your workspace.

• Free again: a budget you delete no longer counts.

Make the allowance go further

• Use Scenarios for options. A cheaper version, a two-day shoot or a second location belongs in a Scenario beside Main, compared side by side in the same budget.

• Use templates for repeat jobs. Save your standard shape as a Budget Template once and start each new job from it. The template itself is free.

• Tidy up. Delete test budgets and budgets you made by mistake.

When you need more

An Admin sees the workspace's plan under Settings, Plan & billing. Compare what each plan includes at https://www.splinde.io/pricing. For a large production company with many budgets and teams, the Enterprise plan is set up with you by sales@splinde.io.

Good to know

• Duplicating a budget copies Main and every Scenario together. If you only wanted another option, add a Scenario instead.

• Budget Templates are shared across the whole workspace, so one good template serves every producer on the team.
