Arrange content across three flexible columns, align each piece exactly where you want it, and edit your header or footer in a clearly marked space that never gets confused with the rest of your document. This is the detail that turns a budget export into something you're proud to hand over.

Real Design Control, Finally

Your documents can now look like your documents. Choose a font for the whole piece, then fine-tune the size, color, and weight of every heading level and your body text individually. Add page breaks exactly where you want a fresh start. Set your page format, adjust your margins on all four sides, and pick a background color — all from one clean settings panel, with every change appearing identically in your live preview and in the PDF you send out. No more fighting the default look. No more manual workarounds after export.

An Editor Built to Stay Out of Your Way

The editor itself now has a proper home in your workspace — docked neatly on the right, exactly where you'd expect it. Collapse it when you need the screen space, and Splinde remembers your preference next time you're back. When you want to focus, switch to Expand Mode and the editor takes center stage while the clutter falls away. Downloading a PDF now gives you clear feedback the moment you click, so you're never left wondering if it's working.

Write Faster, Format Smarter

Building out a document is quicker now. Type "/" on an empty line to pull up a menu of everything you can insert — headings, lists, images, page breaks, and more — or just type a quick shortcut like "#" for a heading or "-" for a bullet, the same way you would in your favorite note-taking app. Select any text and a floating toolbar appears right there for quick formatting, without breaking your flow or flashing distractingly while you're still selecting. Drag content straight from the sidebar into your document with a clear drop indicator showing exactly where it'll land. And the main toolbar itself is cleaner now, with the everyday tools up front and everything else tucked neatly into one dropdown.

Improvements & Fixes

• PDF exports now always reflect the document you're actually viewing, even when a budget has more than one.

• Smoother real-time collaboration: design changes, images, and header/footer edits now sync reliably between everyone working in the same document at the same time, and typing no longer gets interrupted by background updates.

• Added the missing Heading 4 option to the insert menu, plus a Page Number element you can drop straight into your content.

• Fixed the Section Overview block so it always numbers consistently and picks up your chosen document font.

• Smoothed out drag-and-drop when inserting images, page breaks, and other blocks — including making sure your cursor lands exactly where you dropped something.

• Page break indicators now behave correctly and no longer leak into your exported PDF.

• Fixed a scrollbar that could block font size selection, along with several small visual inconsistencies in bullet styles and list numbering.

• General polish across the settings panel and document body so styling looks consistent everywhere, including in previously-overlooked areas like section totals.
