From granular day breakdowns to a reimagined way to handle overtime, Splinde 1.4.0 gives you total control over your schedule and your budget.

The Art of Overtime

Visualizing the Extra Mile Budgeting for overtime used to mean complex formulas and manual math. Not anymore. Meet the all-new Overtime AddOn, a completely new way to handle variable rates and progressive pricing.

We've built a system that understands the flow of a workday. Whether you are calculating by hours or days, Splinde now models contiguous, non-overlapping intervals for you. You simply define the brackets—like the standard day, the 11th hour, or the weekend rate—and the system ensures everything connects perfectly. No gaps, no overlaps, just accurate calculations that reflect the true cost of time.

Prep- Shoot- and Wrap Days

Every Phase, Accounted For A production is never just about the shoot days. It is the preparation before and the wrap after that make it happen.

You can now explicitly define Prep and Wrap days alongside your shoot days. This granular control allows you to build more accurate schedules and cost structures, giving you a deeper understanding of where your budget is actually going, from the first day of pre-production to the final wrap.

Improvements & Fixes

• Effortless Editing: We’ve tuned the input behavior to match your muscle memory. You can now quickly clear fields using your keyboard (delete and tab) without the value resetting, making data entry feel faster and more natural.

• Variable Stability: We’ve done a major polish on Variables. Creating them is smoother (no more stuck error states or pre-filled data), using them for the first time is instant, and renaming or deleting them works exactly as you expect.

• Reliable Templates: Fixed an issue where summary texts were missing when creating a new budget from a template. Your carefully crafted summaries now carry over perfectly.

• Polished for Safari: Fixed a visual glitch where tooltips in AddOns would sometimes appear in the wrong location on Safari.
