The Venture Villa

Participating in the Venture Villa Accelerator program has been a transformative experience for Splinde. Over the last 100 days, we have had the privilege of participating in a series of insightful workshops covering important topics such as team building, branding, sales strategies, target group identification, business models, investment agreements, data protection, legal advice, new leadership and pitch training. Each workshop and the personal exchange with the mentors has helped us a lot and we will continue to benefit from them for a very long time to come!

Collaboration with 6 great startups

A highlight of the program was the opportunity to collaborate with other innovative startups from Batch 15 – Heartjob , Vendovu , Wasteside , Orelink , Kiotech and Violetix . An exchange on equal terms and the opportunity to talk to other founders about very similar challenges in a very trusting environment is invaluable.

Demo Day: The Grand Finale

The Demo Day is the highlight of the program, which marked the end of our accelerator journey. We had the opportunity to present ourselves and Splinde's vision to a large audience; including investors, industry experts and other entrepreneurs, as well as many interested guests. The event was a great success, filled with inspiring pitches from other start-ups, valuable feedback from the jury and numerous networking opportunities.

We are deeply grateful to the jury members – Frauke Wandrey, Alexandra Vázquez Bea and Stefan Bethlehem – for their constructive feedback and encouragement. We would also like to thank the entire Venture Villa team for their impeccable organization and tireless support throughout the entire program. The last official day in particular was very formative and particularly fun.

Valuable insights and learnings

The 100 days at Venture Villa were packed with learning experiences that went beyond just developing Splinde. The diverse inputs and mentoring we received equipped us with a solid knowledge base that will guide us in the future. We developed not only as a team but also on an individual level, gaining skills and insights that are essential for personal and professional growth.

The mentors at Venture Villa played a crucial role in this journey. Their dedication, expertise and willingness to share their knowledge were vital to our development. We owe a huge thank you to each mentor who invested their time and energy to help us.

A brief outlook

With the momentum we gained from the Venture Villa Accelerator program, we are now looking forward to the second half of 2024 with renewed energy. Our main goal is to continue working intensively on our MVP. The next few months will be exciting and challenging, but just as formative for us personally as they are for Splinde. We are picking up more and more speed 🚀
